  • The German PEN Centre as it exists today was formed in 1998 when the Eastern German PEN Centre and the Western German PEN Centre reunified.
  • Activities of the German PEN Centre include a number of events throughout the year, participation in campaigns and scholarships granted to several writers in exile.
