Sur tuta viv’
tre gravas pli Juni’
Juni’ kaj mia kor’ sen sort’
Juni’ kaj mia vers’ sen vort’
kaj mia amo
jes tie sangoflake
Juni’ la sun’ sur korpo brulas
kaj revundas krake
Juni’ fiŝo ekster sanga maro
alien por vintrumi hulas
Juni’ aliforma tero silenta rivero
vortoj stake al mortintoj mutas
Translated to Esperanto from English by Giorgio Silfer.
Giorgio Silfer, born in Milan and living in Switzerland, is the most distinguished contemporaneous author of the Esperanto theatre, he is also a poet, essayist and editor.
