The Poem

Kesäkuu

Shi Tao

Elämäni

jähmettyy ikuisesti kesäkuuhun,
kesäkuuhun, jolloin sydämeni kuoli
runoni kuolivat
rakastettuni
kuoli hylättyyn verialtaaseen.

Kesäkuu, tukahduttavan kuuma aurinko polttaa ihoni
paljastaen haavani todellisen luonteen.
Kesäkuu, pieni kala verenpunaisessa meressä ui
talvehtimaan toisille vesille.
Kesäkuu, maa muuttuu, järvet hiljenevät,
kasaantuvia kirjaimia ei voi ojentaa
kuolleelle.
